Simply put Mindfulness means being in the moment………no matter what that moment is.
Too often we get caught up in our thoughts, constantly ruminating over the past or worrying about the future. When we start to feel overwhelmed by our thoughts, we begin to feel stressed, anxious, worried or angry. This then affects how we feel physically and emotionally. Mindfulness trains the mind to acknowledge our thoughts and then let them go with an attitude of acceptance and kindness.
